End Grain Cutting Boards
Wood-n-Windows designs, builds, and sells end grain cutting boards. End grain cutting boards are the ultimate cutting boards to have for many reasons. For one, they are better for your knives. When you make a cut on an end grain cutting board your knife will slip between the fibers of the woods end grain. This will keep your knives sharper longer. Also, because the knife can slip between the wood fibers, there will be considerably less blemishes from cutting on the board. End grain cutting boards are considered ‘self-healing’ because the fibers can swell back up and hide the cut marks. In addition, end grain cutting boards are very durable and the patterns and colors create an attractive appearance.
